Sorting Styles focuses on patterns of thinking about problems and
builds self-awareness of how one prefers to consider problems. This easy
to explain and to use toolkit allows people to consider their preferred
patterns of thinking and identify better ways of problem solving.
This
toolkit uses Information Sorting Styles as a way of helping people
understand how they think and how they might better use their preferred
patterns of thinking to work more effectively. It's easy to explain and
simple to use and leads to better ways of problem solving. Different in
structure than Ed DeBono's "Six Thinking Hats" process but along the
same clean lines, Sorting Styles focuses on patterns of thinking about
problems and builds self-awareness of how one prefers to consider
problems.
Included in this toolkit are:
- A PowerPoint presentation that describes the different styles
- Has simple exercises for classroom use and good discussion
- Two workbooks and a worksheet, simple and easy to use
- A summary matrix
You'll appreciate its simplicity and effectiveness in application. It is fast and clean, generates good discussions that relate to collaboration on problem solving and thinking skills, and is quite logical in its design.
Developed in collaboration with NLP Trainer Jon Linder, this is an
uncomplicated but powerful tool for improving organizational
performance.
